Pilot Projects
The Functional MRI Laboratory provides limited pilot grant funding to investigators with a demonstrated need and whose proposed project will lead to extramurally funded research.
Eligible applicants are actively appointed research faculty members and tenure-track faculty members. Graduate students and post-doctoral research fellows may also apply, but must have an eligible faculty collaborator cited in their application.
Pilot grant applications are evaluated by a Review Committee. Criteria for funding includes demonstrated need, projects that will lead to extramurally funded research, and well designed protocols. Active IRB approval is also required for award.
Number of hours awarded are scaled to the need of the project, and are funded in in 1 year increments. Interested investigators may complete the Pilot Grant Application Form.
